- Influence and honesty, a good coach speaks plainly and does not skirt around the issues while guiding you to succeed.
- Organizational Ability, strategically planning your success through a strong understanding of the networks involved.
- Emotional Intelligence, understanding how you are feeling and how it affects your decision- making, when assessing the impact on others.
- Flexibility, switch strategy as needed to fit the changing dynamic.
- Common Sense, using basic good business sense in defining strategic direction for each client based on their needs.
- Positive Outlook, Optimism is important when hoping to achieve personal growth.
A coach with all of the above abilities will achieve the best result for you, and having a high IQ does not always mean that the coach has what you are looking for. To find the right coach, look for a clear communicator, who can give you straightforward instructions and help you to be your best self.
